Les panneaux de sécurité sont des images ou symboles qui avertissent des dangers sur un lieu de travail. Ils utilisent des couleurs et des formes spécifiques pour communiquer rapidement un message de sécurité.
Exemple
En cours de technologie, le panneau rouge avec une croix blanche indique l'emplacement de la trousse de premiers secours. Le panneau jaune avec un triangle avertit d'un danger électrique.

Les panneaux rouges = interdiction, jaunes = attention, verts = information de sécurité, bleus = obligation.
