L'équipement de protection personnelle (EPI) est l'ensemble des vêtements et accessoires qui protègent le travailleur contre les risques. Chaque métier a ses propres EPI.
Exemple
Un électricien porte des gants isolants et des chaussures antistatiques. Un ouvrier du bâtiment porte un casque, un gilet de sécurité et des chaussures renforcées.
